Scotland - An Heaven on Earth

Scotland has so much to explore and enjoy the Natural Beauty, I think its just like a Heaven which is placed on Earth. Scotland is an combination of Cities like Glasgow & Edinburgh , Scenic Highlands and Isle's.

City's:

 

1. Glasgow


Glasgow is the largest city in Scotland, and the 4th largest in the United Kingdom.

      All this above Attraction can be covered by Walking in a Day,.


       A map which show above mentioned place can be collected from Tourist Information Centre, ask them map which is used by 'Hop in Hop off' Tour Bus.

      2. Edinburgh

       

      Edinburgh is the capital and most famous city of Scotland, Before visiting Glasgow I was under impression Edinburgh is the biggest city of Scotland ;)

        In Edinburgh most of Attraction are on same street, Street named as "The Royal Mile" or "High Street", There are couple of Walking Tour which you can join if you are not comfortable on exploring place alone.

        Enough of City tour, time to move to Natural Beauty (an Heaven on Earth).

        Attractions of HighLands:
        Urquhart Castle
        • Dunkeld Cathedral : It stands on the north bank of the River Tay in Dunkeld, Cathedral in Dunkeld is around 1400 old year. It has a very Scenic view of the River.
        • Bell whisky distillery, Pitlochry :  A Tour of Whisky Preparation Process, History of Whisky Angel's ;)
        • Cairngorm National Parkis a national park in north east Scotland, established in 2003. It was the second of two national parks established by the Scottish Parliament, after Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park.

        • Inverness : Inver (River) Ness is a city in the Scottish Highlands and is regarded as the capital of the Highlands of Scotland. It's an nice place to spend your Night
        • Loch Ness : Loch (Lake) Ness s a large, deep, freshwater loch in the Scottish Highlands extending for approximately 23 miles southwest of Inverness. Loch Ness is considered as the Lake where water Monster was seen. People still believe there is a Monster in the Lake, but I didn't see it :(
        • Urquhart Castle : It's sit beside Loch Ness which give a Great View of  Lake.

        • Fort Augustus : It's a very beautiful village, Very well constructed and organized. You can have a walk across the River to explore the Village.
        • Fort William is a major tourist Centre with Glen Coe just to the south, Aonach Mòr to the north and Glenfinnan to the west, on the Road to the Isles. It is a Centre for hillwalking and climbing due to its proximity to Ben Nevis.
        • Aonach Mor: Gondola ride (Cable Car) to the Snowgoose Restaurant at the top of the mountain

        • Ben Nevis : Largest Mountain in British Isles, Standing at 1,344 metres (4,409 ft) above sea level.
        • Glen coe : is a Volcanic Glen in the Highlands, It is often considered one of the most spectacular and beautiful places in Scotland.
